Anastasia Carrillo, P.M.H.N.P.-B.C.

 

Ms. Carrillo earned her Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington and her M.S.N. for Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner from Frontier Nursing University.

 

As a psychiatric nurse, Ms. Carrillo provided care at a psychiatric emergency department, treating patients of all ages. In 2021, she transitioned to practice at an outpatient clinic where she provided mental health services for patients undergoing cancer treatment.

 

Ms. Carrillo is Board Certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center and is a member of the American Nurses Association, the North Carolina Nurses Association, and the American Psychiatric Nurses Association.

 

Ms. Carrillo specializes in the use of psychiatric medication management coupled with psychotherapy for children, adolescents, and adults. Her clinical interests include mood disorders, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, and Down Syndrome Regression Disorder.

 

Ms. Carrillo joined Eastover Psychiatric Group in 2025.  Outside of her professional commitments, Ms. Carrillo enjoys exploring the ever-growing food scene in Charlotte, spending time with friends and family and relaxing with her cat. When needing a vacation, you may find her travelling to a tropical oasis or to Disney!
