Erin Taylor, Ph.D.

 

Dr. Taylor earned her doctoral degree in Clinical Health Psychology from the University of North Texas.  She completed a predoctoral internship at Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie, Indiana, and then a postdoctoral fellowship in Consult-Liaison Psychiatry and Behavioral Medicine at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas. 

 

Dr. Taylor is a member of the Society of Behavioral Medicine, the North Carolina Psychological Association, and the Mecklenburg Psychological Association. 

 

Dr. Taylor moved to North Carolina from her native Texas in 2005 and is proud to have been a part of Eastover Psychological & Psychiatric Group since 2011. She has experience in creating behavioral interventions to complement medical management of chronic conditions, as well as in treating mood, anxiety, and adjustment disorders (particularly those related to adjustment to changes in health status).

 

Dr. Taylor also provides pre-surgical psychological evaluations for weight loss surgery candidates.
