
Kathryn Clary, M.D.
Dr. Clary earned her B.A. in Psychology from the University of South Carolina and her M.D. from the Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University. She completed her General Psychiatry residency at Duke University Medical Center. She is a member of the North Carolina Psychiatric Association and the American Psychiatric Association.
Dr. Clary specializes in treating adults (ages 18 and older) with a wide range of conditions, including mood disorders (including depression and bipolar disorder), anxiety disorders, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder and Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder.
She has particular interests in women’s mental health and in the impact of nutrition and exercise on mental health. In addition to psychopharmacology, she incorporates psychodynamic therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) into her practice to provide individualized care.
A Charlotte native and graduate of Providence High School, Dr. Clary returned to her hometown and joined Eastover Psychiatric Group in 2025. Outside of her clinical work, she enjoys being outdoors, baking, and spending time with her family and friends.
