Marcus Pelucio, M.D.

 

Dr. Pelucio earned his B.S. degree at the University of Pittsburgh and his M.D. at The Pennsylvania State University College of Medicine - The Milton S. Hershey Medical Center, where he received the American Medical Association's Rock Sleyster Memorial Scholarship for outstanding senior medical student devoted to psychiatry.  He completed his General Psychiatry residency training at The University of Pittsburgh Medical Center's Western Psychiatric Institute and Clinic in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. 

 

He has been dedicated to full-time clinical practice since finishing his residency in 1995.  He served as Chairman of Psychiatry at Westmoreland Regional Hospital Medical Center in Greensburg, Pennsylvania and has practiced all aspects of behavioral health care treatment: inpatient hospitalization, consultation-liaison work, partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient services and outpatient services.

 

Dr. Pelucio is Board Certified in General Psychiatry.  He is a Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association, and a member of the North Carolina Psychiatric Association and the North Carolina Medical Society.      

 

Dr. Pelucio is a native of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.  He joined Eastover Psychiatric Group in 2006.  He specializes in adult psychiatry with special interests in Mood Disorders, Anxiety Disorders, Women's Mental Health Issues and Psychopharmacology.
