COVID-19 Telemedicine Update for April

In light of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, Eastover Psychological & Psychiatric Group will continue to provide exclusively telemedicine services to our established patients through Friday, May 1, 2020. Though we will still be here answering the phones and conducting telemedicine visits, the office will not be open for any in-person visits. We are using doxy.me, a secure and HIPAA-compliant video-conferencing service, for these visits. There is nothing to sign up for and no account to create. In light of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, Eastover Psychological & Psychiatric Group will be providing exclusively telemedicine services to our established patients as of Monday, March 23, 2020 and lasting for two weeks through Friday, April 3, 2020. Though we will still be here answering the phones and conducting telemedicine visits, the office will not be open for any in-person visits. Since we are not able to conduct new patient evaluations via telemedicine, this unfortunately means that we will need to cancel and postpone any new patient evaluations during this time. Telemedicine for COVID-19

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we have been working since last week to rapidly develop and expand our telemedicine capabilities. During this time the government, our licensing bodies, and insurance companies have significantly relaxed various restrictions and regulations regarding telemedicine. On Monday, March 16 several clinicians began conducting telemedicine visits on a pilot basis. As of Wednesday, March 18 all clinicians are offering telemedicine visits for established patients via doxy.me. Doxy.me is a secure, HIPAA-compliant telemedicine service. Statement on Coronavirus

Eastover Psychological & Psychiatric Group is monitoring the Coronavirus situation and following the guidance of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). We ask that if you, or any family members, have symptoms of acute respiratory illness (including fever, cough, sneezing, difficulty breathing, shortness of breath, fatigue) please cancel and reschedule your appointment with us, and seek appropriate medical care.
