Our group was founded in the 1970s as Charlotte Psychological and Counseling Group.  In the 1980s, the group expanded to include more psychiatrists and changed names to Eastover Psychological & Psychiatric Group.  For many years, our clinicians provided inpatient care at several hospitals in the area as well as outpatient care.  Since the 2000s, we have evolved to focus on outpatient services only.  In 2023 we simplified our name to Eastover Psychiatric Group to better reflect our current practice.
