Notice Regarding Incident, Closure Thursday Morning (UPDATED)

As you may be aware, there was an incident at our office today. We are pleased to report that everyone is safe. We would like to thank our staff and all first responders, especially the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department, for helping to ensure a safe resolution to the situation. In light of the incident, Eastover Psychological & Psychiatric Group in Charlotte and Eastover Psychological & Psychiatric Group of the Carolinas in Lake Norman and Ballantyne will be closed Thursday morning. If you have an appointment scheduled from 8:00 AM through 1:00 PM your appointment is cancelled. We will be in touch to reschedule as soon as possible. Gina Duncan, M.D. Featured in News Stories Regarding Coping With Stress, Depression

Dr. Duncan was featured in two interviews recently, providing advice on coping with stress and depression. Back in November, Dr. Duncan was interviewed on Wisconsin Public Radio's Morning Show regarding coping with stress particularly around the holidays and family gatherings, but it's good advice no matter the time of year! As of this fall, the following Eastover Psychological & Psychiatric Group clinicians will no longer be Medicare providers: Gina Duncan, MD Valerie Glass, PMHNP Baiba Grasman, MSW, LCSW Ethan Musgrave, MD Marcus Pelucio, MD Chandler Perry, PMHNP Cynthia Shahan, MD Scott Wallace, MD If you have Medicare and see one of the above clinicians, they will no longer be able to treat you as of September 1, 2018. You will be receiving a letter soon with more details, including recommendations for transferring your care and forms to facilitate transferring your records if needed.
